The chorus will be performing the following selections from Handel's Messiah

• No.4 ... "And the Glory of the Lord"
• No.7 ... "And He Shall Purify the Sons of Levi"
• No.9 ... "O Thou Tellest Good Tidings to Zion"
• No.12 ... "For Onto Us a Child is Born"
• No.44 ... "Hallelujah"

You will need a user name and password from your music director to access the folders.
Click on the directory for your part and a password box will come up. Enter your user name and password and you will be transferred to a directory with your mp3 practice files.

If you click on a music file you will have the option of playing the file (OPEN) or downloading it (SAVE) to your computer. Real Media Player and Internet Explorer is unpredictable, you may not be able to play directly from the website. Switch your default player to Windows Media Player, and it should work OK.

Since the files are very large anyway, so we strongly suggest that you SAVE the files to your computer destop (or your music folder) so they will be there and ready when you want to practice and you will not have to wait a second time for downloading. To save the file, "right click" on the music file and select in the dialog box "Save Link As" Another dialog box will come up asking where to save the file. Usally your desktop is the simplest choice, but just remember where you save it!

• October 23 (Special Sectional Rehearsal at 7:00 P.M., Soloist auditions at 6:00 PM)

FOLLOWING REHEARSALS WITH ORCHESTRA PLAYERS (IN BAND ROOM)
CHOIR MEMBERS & SOLOISTS (TN MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM):

• October 30
• November 6 (final vocal soloist auditions at 6:00 P.M.)
• November 20
• No rehearsal during Thanksgiving week (Nov. 27)
• December 4 — DRESS REHEARSAL 7:00 P.M. at Mission San Miguel
• December 6, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. - PERFORMANCE date and time for the concert.
  All performers, orchestra members and singers should arrive by 1:00 P.M. for a brief warm up.
